Friends book

A friend of mine is writing a book. It's going to be great.
It's about his experiences since being recalled and in Afghanistan.
He's in a different camp than me, but we keep in touch. 1. 2.

Eye of the Sun

Something in my eye. Eye waters and eye feels like it has dirt.

Nothing seen. All looks fine. Feels so dry. Eye tears.

Nose runs but only on the eye side. What is that bright light?

Looking and looking. Is that a spec or spot? Difficult to say.

Burn. Burn. Burn.

Left.

Eye of the Sun. 1. 2.

Books and stuff

Hey thanks for the comments on my blogs.

I've been busy lately. Visiting an interesting place, working, interesting circumstances, at once beautiful, but at the same time there's sadness. God bless everyone.

I've read some books. I really liked the book Paint it Black. Psalm 91, The widows of eastwick, and some others.

I read some other books too that I can't remember the names of right now.

The Prayer of Jabez was good.

I love all you. 1. 2.

Recently

I recently read a book called the Kabul Beauty School. Excellent book.

I am now reading a novel called Paint it Black.

I'm living in Kabul at a camp for a while now. My opinion is that It is an interesting place and the mountains are beautiful although kind of dusty this time of year. The culture of the people of Afghanistan is really polite and friendly. It reminds me of rural Kentucky where I grew up. I hope that there can be peace and prosperiety come to this land. I wish that I spoke Dari.
May God bless everyone. 1. 2.

Three

So, if three makes a cone.
Oh, witchy one.
Who were the other two?

Don't I know you ask?
No.

If you dare, care to answer me.
It would be great to hear something
other from dreams or feelings. 1. 2.

Time Traveller Flying

I flew from biloxi to Bangor and on to Leipzig to Manas. Some beautiful country through here.
Looking out reminds me of the Rockies, beautiful mountains.
Time traveling is always interesting. You see two sun rises and two sun sets and more in less than a day and when you arrive it's a lot different time than you could have thought. That is what I think makes the flux capacitator so confusing. When you time travel it confuses the senses, but yet at the same time is invigorating. 1. 2.

Time Flies When You Want it Not Too

This picture of Alicia Silverstone has nothing to do with anything. I found this picture a few months ago and thought that it was a beautiful photograph; and besides I used to have a crush on her.
I keep holding on to this image thinking that it would be a great painting.
I'm on one of those trips that some call one of your journey's in life. It's not one of those I had planned to go on. So far, I've been to Georgia and Mississippi. Soon I'll be somewhere in Afghanistan. I've been home for a short few days. Time flies when you want it not too.
I've flown into Biloxi which I'd never been to before. The gulf was muddy and the air smelt so fresh near the ocean. Away from it, well, it's hot and muggy. Not one of my favorite climates I admit. Sure in Kentucky it's hot and humid, but Mississppi weather takes hot and humid to a new level. 1. 2.

The Land of

I was thinking that it would be interesting if I did a post that's not a post. So, I am doing that. (I suppose, though, that in doing that, it's still a post), Ok, now knowing that, let's forget about that and pretend, that this is a post that is not a post.
The title is The Land of.
I was thinking that anyone who wants to, whom comes across this post, can fill in the blank or elaborate. Please do that in the comments.

Emotional Tirade at the Dusk Dawning

Solemn like Sad.
Angry and Mad.
Thunderously loud war roar.
Envy like Jealous.
Happy is hilarious.
God is full of love.
Silent peace.
Needy lonely spirit.
Insecure feels it.
Lust says Must...
Fear is always near.
True courage doesn't discourage.
Confide pride,
Better than you, better than me.
I am what I am.

The storm is arising
It is thunder
lightning
thunder
I love
you
and the storm
and the rain
comes falling
down
I love
you

The Rain and
the Storm to
Cool us down 1. 2.

Appreciated

Oh, how I love. Oh how I
lonely, lowly, languishing
my true love.
She does not appreciate.
Oh how, I paint,
so great, gaping, gnashing,
and only I see their brilliance.
Oh, how I go and all I do
is all
unappreciated.
I love. I want to sleep.
to escape horrid
horrid, lacking,
burden that I am. 1. 2.

Wandering

Here I am Wandering.
What will I do next.
What is my next move?
Will they really let me go?
Excitement of the possibiltiy
of a new life.
Fear of the unknown and
loss of the masters security.
Wandering.
Wandering.
Oh, what should I do?
and what will make me happy.
Cause all I have known is, unhappiness,
separation, misery, isolation...
Oh, it will be good to leave the
Master and his burdens and even his security.
Master, Oh my Master,
When I am gone,
Don't call me back for anything.
Let me go. 1. 2.

Down In a Hole

Down in a Hole by Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains)

Bury Me Softly In This Womb
I Give This Part Of Me For You
Sand Rains Down And Here I Sit
Holding Rare Flowers
In A Tomb.....In Bloom

Down In A Hole And I Don't Know
If I Can Be Saved
See My Heart I Decorate It
Like A Grave
You Don't Understand Who They
Thought I Was Supposed To Be
Look At Me Now A Man
Who Won't Let Himself Be

Down In A Hole, Losin' My Soul
Down In A Hole, Losin' Control
I'd Like To Fly
But My Wings Have Been So Denied

Down In A Hole And They've Put All
The Stones In Their Place
I've Eaten The Sun So My Tongue
Has Been Burned Of The Taste
I Have Been Guilty
Of Kicking Myself In The Teeth
I Will Speak No More
Of My Feelings Beneath

Oh I Want To Be Inside Of You

Down In A Hole, Losin' My Soul
Down In A Hole, Feelin' So Small
Down In A Hole, Losin' My Soul
Down In A Hole, Out Of Control

I'd Like To Fly
But My Wings Have Been So Denied 1. 2.

You

They're all laughing at you.

You're no good. You can't.
Where can you go?
Who do you have?
Anybody else would do better, but .....You.
My life is miserable because of you.
I am great in bed, I can have anyone, but I chose You.
My family thinks you're a looser.
You don't even have any friends.
You do nothing right.
You can't do anything.
Everything's your fault.
You will not. You do not.
Everything you do...
Everything about you...
You make everyone miserable.
Do you know how that made me feel?
Don't you understand?
Why can't you?
You and your looser coupons.
What an embarrassment you are.
You ruined my day.
You don't even care.
I could've done so much better than
you.
There's nothing wrong with you.
You need to.
You're going to.
You have to.
If it's going to get done, you have to do it.
You are the reason.
I could do so much better than you.
I could've done so much better than you. 1. 2.

Daisy Dandelion Wine

I thought about it for a while and was thinking about it. I was thinking about changing the name of this blog which I initially named The Writer. After good counsel I did change it.
When trying to enter an address for it upon creation, I had tried the writer. Taken.
I then tried daisy, which was taken. I like the name Daisy. It is a beautiful flower and name. I have always equated Daisy with female beauty.
Then I tried dandelion wine. Dandelion's grow all over. They are fun to pick up the seeds and blow them in the wind. Although I've never know anyone to do so, all parts of the dandelion are eatable. I have also read that one of the best homemade wines that you can make is dandelion wine, made with the yellow flowers. I tried dandelion wine. Taken.
I then thought a while and then typed in daisy dandelion wine and it was available. That would be the blog address.
I started out thinking that I would write an online book full of stories, and perhaps I will, but after a couple of entries, I couldn't decide where to go with the story, as of yet, anyway. Then I started to write some other stuff. After all, this blog, this blog of mine, is called the writer.
I became dissatisfied with the name. It was plain. Nothing poetic or artistic about it jumped out at me. It wasn't different at all. No mystery. No mystique.
The blog address kept popping out at me. "Man, why didn't I come up with something better, more poetic, artistic, to name it" I would think. Over and over. This became an obsession. I couldn't write anything because when I would come to think about it and write, all I could think about was that.
I asked my friend Manz, whom had encouraged and inspired me to start this blog, if I should change the name. Initially, she said, she wasn't sure, but then she said yes. I was glad because if she hadn't liked the changing of the name, I don't think I would have changed it.
.....and yes, I know that I've used too many I's in this posting, but that is how this posting is.

The State of the Unions

The world as we know it has changed. Not for the better, but for the worse. This is the trend of history. Evil has out flanked good.
Out of the darkness comes flickers of lights.
The sun is dimming.
IT will get colder.
Prophesies will continue to be filled.
Love has waxed cold. 1. 2.

Yellow Brick Road

wandering, wandering, wandering...
looking for the yellow brick road.
Where could it be? I .....
Where are you?
Click my feet together. I want to
be in a lucid vivid dream of good fortune
and happiness.
Wandering, and looking.
Where is it? Lost in a
wildererness world filled with evil witches.
I remember her voice and the
sweetness like sugared chocolate candy.

She said. I will miss you. There's no place like home.
Follow the yellow brick road ...and you
will come back to me. 1. 2.

Intuition

That voice inside your head that you don't know where comes from that shows you pictures and whispers things to you........
When a thought keeps coming into your mind and you dismiss it only to find out later that you shouldn't have......
You somehow know something and have no idea how or why....
You can fill in the blanks with many more and we call intuition in the English language. What it is and where it comes from we don't know. People postulate all kinds of theories on it and have a million answers to what this is.
Some have said also that a coincidence isn't a coincidence. It has hidden meaning. I don't know about any of it.
Maybe......intuition is the small whispering voice of God. 1. 2.

at dusk and at night when it's warm

Sometimes it's nice to just look up into the sky at dusk. I don't know why, but I have some sort of natural born talent to make people uncomfortable or to just piss someone off. It's like I have some kind of star wars jedi master mind power that goes out and surrounds the area.
It is good to look up into the sky at dusk. Let out a deep breath of air in a meditative sigh realizing that it's difficult to be comfortable in your own skin. Relax and look. Wait and watch for the stars where your mind can wander around in the heavens while you sit and watch on earth. Looking into the dusk as the stars appear for their near nightly performance on such a grand stage.
Forgetting about all the people. Forgetting about your jedi powers. Just looking and watching into the night sky thinking, wondering, and talking to God. 1. 2.

Moderation of the Flowers

The flaming beauty of female forces. Warmth emanates from her burning
passion as she is cold dressed in mysterious darkness. Cold surrounds her, yet she warms her immediate surroundings. How can you run away from the danger when you are
cloaked in the ice cold air? She invites you to come ever more closer to her confines.
Shivering, you want to come closer, and closer, to that warmth, to touch her......and
you do. Careful not to keep your hand in the flame too long or the numbing cold in
your fingers will turn to burning. Too cold and too hot both have a similar
sensation.
Flowers are such beautiful creations endowed to us all by the Great Creator. The flame wonders across the stage endowed with gifts divine. Fill the deep, dark, cold, void of cold lonely winter despair. The perfect time to get next to the passion is on a cold evening, night. 1. 2.

Deep

I'm not sure why, but it's fitting, this image is huge. Flood. First, beautiful picture of painting inside my mind of a perfect somber flood is somewhat intrinsic in natural nature.
Loving those close, but separated by injustice in humanistic nature we follow and flow to the extreme. Love, love love. Hate, hate, hate. Am I not human?
Rain, creek, river, lake, sea, ocean. Remember the old time days when the water inhabited and ruled the entire earth and universe? Oh, oh, only if you are beyond the sphere of the mortality of humanity.
Damn! Why did Layne Stayly have to die so young? Wasn't he such a comfort to the angriest of old and youth at the same time?
Flood. Flood. Flood.
Wondering, meandering, through injustice day and night, through the historic and fraternal history of what we call man or humanism....
Ahh, yeah, I have to say, the very best of it all, even if inspired by the morning, is music. Do you not love music, whether it is the natural song of a bird or the electric wale of a guitar? Above all music is power. So, powerful, ahhh, yeah. Can you feel it? Can you feel the music? Can you feel?
No wonder the Morning Star was the most favored of the One that we call God. The greatest musician of all, he was, and still is.
It is fun to fish. Riding in a boat is substantial. On the open water is somewhat overwhelmingly powerful and sublime fear at the same moment.
Oh.....Where were we?
Don't drive into that. It looks too deep.

Computer

Compuuuuuuutterrrrrr. Compuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttterrrrrrr.

The zombie like mobs with blazed eyes of fire chanted that over and over again as they marched onward towards that great Manhattan screen. Nothing was on the screen but the color blue. The blue screen of death, although some get the black screen of death, nonetheless it was blue. No static, no noise. All that could be heard was compuuuuuuuuuuttttttttterrrrrrrrrr. Over and over again in a mesmerizing hypnotic voice. It was as if this mob of millions had but one voice; one brain. You could see the fire in their eyes. Like some kind of nuclear meltdown in some sort of sub atomic level. All as one but not one as many? The legions were searching and calling for compuuuuuuuuterrrrrrrrr. Lost, and damnd. Wondering.
sssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiii..............
OK! We're back online now.
The Net is back up.
The mob of people rushed off down the streets dispersing into buildings, subways, taxis, etc. Off to work wherever or whatever it might be.
"That was a close one, man." said the chief engeneer.
"Yes, indeed. " said the man.
